What should I expect?

You will start by planning and designing your fabric - Rebecca will show you some options to choose from.

You will learn how to create tassels using high end finishing techniques and learn how to create a beautiful piece of heirloom fabric.

Working at your own pace, you will then wind your warp, learn how to set up the countermarch looms and then weave your length of fabric. 

There is a huge sense of achievement on this course - learning how the looms operate but also seeing your very own fabric being created with your own hands. However, if you have completed this course before or are looking to create your own design, please do let Rebecca know and we can plan the session around what you are wanting to achieve.

Depending on the pace of the student, you may need to book additional sessions to complete your piece which will be charged at £10 per hour.

How much does it cost?

The 8 session course is £640 for over 30 hours of tuition with Rebecca. 

You will come to the studio once a week for four hours and work towards creating your woven piece. You’ll have the time and guidance to truly connect with your craft, learn new skills, and enjoy the mindful rhythm of weaving. Start dates for the courses can be found on our booking form below.

All materials are included and endless amounts of Tea and Biscuits! 

We suggest that students take their own notes and photos for this course.

How do I book and pay?

Please select the start date of the course - this will show as 4 hours but will automatically book you in for the eight sessions (32 hours). You will be able to complete payment on the booking system and we will send you a confirmation email with details for the course and how to find the studio.
