'Gather & Weave' Farnham Maltings

Come along and join us for a fun, relaxed, social weaving day at the Farnham Maltings! The day will be filled with opportunities to share tips, learn from others and see all the wonderful things we've created!

Schedule For 'Gather & Weave'

Saturday 27th September

Farnham Maltings

10am - 4pm

10am - Arrival and Welcome - Settle in, meet fellow weavers and find a space. A short introduction will open the day.

10.15am - Weaving Together - Session 1 -  Begin working on your project in a calm, inspiring space. Enjoy the time chatting with fellow weavers whilst you work and enjoy the sounds of a busy creative space!

11am - Tea & Coffee Break -  Refreshments will be served with biscuits!

11.15am - Weaving Together - Session 2 -  Continue Weaving at your own pace.

1pm - Lunch -  A selection of assorted fillings in artisan bread, Greek feta salad, olives, hummus and focaccia, fresh fruit salad, brownies, water and tea/coffee will be served in our room so we can eat and chat together.

1.30pm - Show and Share -  A relaxed moment to share your projects, share issues and how you have overcome them and a time to inspire each other with your Weaving journeys so far.

2.30pm - Tea & Coffee Break -  Refreshments will be served with biscuits!

2.45pm - Weaving Together - Session 3 - Our final group weaving session - enjoy this time together!

3.45pm - Closing Circle - A gentle wrap-up to reflect on the day and time to look at the yarn and items on display. 

4pm - Finish! -  Time to depart with full hearts and your projects well underway!

The day is very flexible - if you want to spend more of your time walking round and seeing projects on the loom, chatting or socialising, then feel free! The above is purely a guideline for our day!

Suitable for weavers with any type of portable loom!
