What should I expect?

You will start by planning and designing your fabric - this will be a checked design and we will be planning for a scarf or table runner that will be approximately 33cm wide by 180cm in length. 

You will learn how to create tassels using high end finishing techniques and learn how to create a beautiful piece of heirloom fabric.

Working at your own pace, you will then wind your warp, learn how to set up the Louet table loom and then weave your length of fabric. 

There is a huge sense of achievement on this course - learning how the looms operate but also seeing your very own fabric being created with your own hands. 

Depending on the pace of the student, you may need to book additional sessions to complete your piece.

How much does it cost?

For £640, you will receive over 30 hours of expert, hands-on tuition, you’ll explore techniques, textures, and creative expression while working towards your own beautifully finished woven piece.

You’ll visit the studio twice a week for a four-hour session, surrounded by calm and inspiring surroundings.

All materials are provided, along with endless tea, biscuits, and friendly conversation. You’ll have the time and guidance to truly connect with your craft, learn new skills, and enjoy the mindful rhythm of weaving.

We recommend bringing a notebook and camera to capture your progress, ideas, and inspiration throughout the course.

Please select the start date of the course - this will show as 4 hours but will automatically book you in for the eight weeks (32 hours). You will be able to complete payment on the booking system and we will send you a confirmation email with details for the course and how to find the studio.
