Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I cancel my workshop booking?

    CANCELLATION POLICY

I need to cancel my workshop, what can I do?

Due to the time it takes to prepare for a workshop, we do have to have a cancellation policy in place for cancellations.

All our workshops are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances.

If you give more than 14 days notice to cancel a place on a workshop your options are as follows:

-We are happy for you to rebook your workshop, using the link in the confirmation email that you have been sent.

-If there are no suitable future dates for you to transfer to, please get in touch and we can look at other alternatives or we can provide a voucher to be used for a future workshop booking, this will be valid for one year from the date of issue.

If you give less than 14 days notice to cancel a place on a workshop then your options are as follows:

-If you would like to transfer, we can only transfer you to a future workshop if your place is re-sold.

-If it is not re-sold, we will let you know and we will still offer you the option to rebook, but it will be on a shorter notice period (48 hours) if spaces are still available on a workshop.

We understand that this may be frustrating, but unfortunately a lot of time is spent organising and setting up for the workshop, that I do have to enforce a strict policy.

    Workshop cancellations by us

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date, voucher to be used at another time or in our store, or a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.

  • How long will it take to get my order?

Most items are handcrafted to order so Rebecca will be in touch to give an estimated despatch date. Generally it takes around 3-4 weeks for an item to be made and then you should receive it a couple of days after the despatch date.

  • How much is delivery?

Delivery is done by courier. Most items are £6.99 but some maybe more especially if ordering multiple items. If there are any supplements to be paid for delivery due to heavier or larger parcels, Rebecca will be in touch.

  • Do you do bespoke lampshades?

Absolutely! Contact Rebecca and she will discuss with you what your requirements are.

  • What do I need to bring to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes. For Intermediate Workshops, bring a packed lunch on both days.

  • How do I find the studio?

The studio is in a cosy barn in the garden of our family home.

It is an easier drive coming from the Tilford Road entrance into Hyde Lane as Sailors Lane (off Thursley Road) is a narrow, windy country road.

Sat Nav may take you to Marchants Farm next door. If that’s on your right, we are the next cottage along from that on the right with a steep driveway (after the farm's car park). Call 07983 594969 if you can’t find it. There will be a space to park on the drive.

  • Can my child attend a workshop?

Sure, as long as they are supervised by an adult. The beginners workshop is 3 hours so maybe too long for some younger ones. We wouldn't recommend them attending the Intermediate Workshop as that is an intense 6 hours.

  • Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes, we do either vouchers for workshops or monetary vouchers to spend on homeware. Click here to find out more.

  • I'm not very artistic and never tried weaving before. Can I still do a workshop?

Yes,  the Beginners Workshop is well suited to those who have never experienced it before. Click here for more information.

  • Is your studio wheelchair friendly?

Due to the location of Rebecca's family home, the studio is not accessible. However, Rebecca can accomodate wheelchair access within her home so please contact her to discuss your requirements.
